What
are the skills required to complete this group assignment?
The
skills required from completed this Hotel planning and design assignment is
thinking and problem solving skill, because for completed this assignment we
need to think critically and creatively. Since, we need to do with the design
to make a restaurant; we need have more creative thinking to make it different.
Secondly,
communication skill is very important when we need to do assignment with the
team. Because communicate appropriately in the team can brings each member in
one team to do in the same way and purpose. So, it can decrease the problem in
the progress of making the assignment, it also can make each member can do the
best for the assignment and avoid the misunderstanding.
Lastly,
digital literacy that means effectiveness use of ICT and related technologies.
Since, we need to design the restaurant concept. The AutoCAD program is really
important for designing. So, we need to do very well in this AutoCAD to get a
good design.
What
was the most challenging part about working in a group?
The
most challenging part in the working as a group is the communication between
each other and also the ideas of each member. Since we need to design using an
AutoCAD, it requires us to seek more about the design of other restaurant to
get more ideas. With each member find about the ideas, it becomes rush and
everything have their own opinion, so the challenging part when we need to find
which idea the best.
What
was the best part of working in a group?
The
best part of working in a group is when each member of the group can do
together very well to come out the idea and everyone is doing their own works
so nicely. So, the time when the works finished also in the same time without
any delay. Rather than work individually, working in group much more better to
come out more ideas.
How
did I feel about being the leader/ordinary group member? Could I do things
differently?
In
our group, there is no group leader, all is ordinary member. With this all
ordinary group member, it makes me more comfortable and makes me nicer to share
my idea. Since, we all the same ordinary, we have different thinking and
strengths. Some is have strengths for come out with the great ideas of layout
and do very well in the AutoCAD and some is very good to do a report. It makes
us to do very well, because we help each other.
What
was different about working with course mates from different background?
With
the different background, firstly it is awkward to talk and share our ideas.
But as the time going, with the different background, each member has different
ideas and we help each other when there is some problem in everything based on
design or report.
Which
part of this assignment did I do very well and not very well? Why?
In
this assignment, I am not really do well in the AutoCAD, but when roughly
designing in the paper I still can do it. I am doing quite good in the report
and find some ideas to adding in the design when there is something missing. I
am not do well in the AutoCAD because I’m still not really good at AutoCAD, I
am still lacking of some command that make me always wrong in the measuring.
What
skills do I need to improve?
The
skill that I need to improve is digital literacy, because I’m not really good
at AutoCAD. This is the most important skill in this project that required me
to work with AutoCAD to do the designing. And lastly is intrapersonal skill
that is I can manage myself and can do better with the group. Because, we need
to start everything by our self first to make a group better.
